As of 31st Dec 2021 the Covid-19 pandemic continues, Delta and Omicron variants are widely spread throughout the globe, and the UK has had a mass vaccination program, with booster shots being administered.

Please be aware that these times may not be 100% accurate. So don’t have a go at the shop staff, or anyone if you find something closed.

It does appear that Banks are generally open 10am-2pm Mon-Fri and all shops are reducing their opening hours. Do help this site keep updated with what you see when you visit shops.

Most shops now have safety procedures for social distancing in place, please ask if you don’t know or can’t see what to do. Let’s try and work together whilst we adapt to this new way of shopping.

There are some shops that will have outside queues, keep at least 2 metres apart, think 8-10 feet which is over 2 metres (6ft 6″), as you won’t get too close to anyone else and if you stop in an aisle, try and keep to one side or another, as it’s likely whilst you’re trying to choose, there are other people that need to get past.

Outdoors: it is suggested by various research that coughs and sneezes can travel up to 6 or 8 metres !
So catch it, kill it, bin it still applies.
And please don’t be an ass and one of those people that coughs at others !
